Do I need a phone to play?
Yes. Painstation connects to a free app (available on the App Store and Google Play) to run its games. Some games run entirely on one phone, no Wi-Fi needed between players. Others connect multiple phones over Wi-Fi for full multiplayer.
How many people can play?
Up to 4 players on a single Painstation, since it comes with 4 pairs of wristbands. For some games you can squeeze in more by pairing up: two people each wear one wristband and hold hands to complete the circuit. If you want a full 8 players each with their own pair, connect two Painstations over Wi-Fi.
